Attic Gallery

I am a co-owner of the Attic Gallery, now located in Downtown Camas. My mother started the gallery in 1973 in the attic of our home. My husband and I moved from Portland, OR to Camas in 2015. I joined the board because I believe strongly that it is the reason why the city of Camas is as successful as it is. It is an active board with members who genuinely care for the well-being of the city, businesses, and the community.

How long have you served on the board?

6 years.

What do you love about Camas?

The quaintness and friendliness.

What do you enjoy about being a part of the Camas Community?

It is fun, inviting, and rewarding.

What is your favorite memory in Camas?

My favorite memory in Camas has to be the ribbon-cutting ceremony that we had when we opened our business in 2016. We just had moved it from Portland, Oregon, to Camas, and we were all nervous, excited, and exhausted. The Downtown Camas Association welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. The ribbon-cutting ceremony had a great turnout and gave us an idea of what was to come: support, kindness, and a great community.
