Steve Hogan

I am currently the Mayor of the City of Camas. Prior to elected office, I worked as a senior manager in industrial manufacturing and distribution industries. I enjoy volunteering in nonprofit organizations and serving on the Columbia River Economic Development Council Board of Directors.

How long have you served on the board?

Mayor since November of 2021. Member of the Camas City Council for 16 years.

What do you love about Camas?

Camas is a great place to live, work and raise a family. We have been rated as one of the safest cities in the state of Washington for several years now. We have an outstanding downtown area that serves as a central gathering place for our citizens. The Camas School District is one of the top-rated school districts in the nation. We have great outdoor activities available within our city limits. I love the hometown feel of our city.

What do you enjoy about being a part of the Camas Community?

The Camas Community is diverse, welcoming and inclusive.

What is your favorite memory in Camas?

Central gathering place activities such as Hometown Holidays in December, the Halloween Boo Bash in October and the Farmer’s Market.
